My unofficial TechEd NewZealand App has just been published to the Windows Phone Marketplace. This app allows you to keep up to date with the latest Facebook, Twitter, Flickr information as well its a great way to watch the Video’s recording of the event once they are published. In the mean time you can watch the new USA TechEd Video sessions as well..

If you had anything to do with the Queensland floods you will know that the Queensland Police Facebook and QPSMedia Twitter account were a source of excellent information. This has inspired me and as a result I have decided to write a Windows Phone app that allows you to see the latest news from the QPS Media Unit.

I have just had another one of my Windows Phone apps published to the market place. This one is called the “9 News Brisbane” app and is an unofficial way to keep up to date with all the news from Twitter, Facebook and News Feeds.

I have just had my first Windows Phone application published to the Marketplace. The app is called “TechEd Australia” and is a social viewer application that lets you keep up to date with what is going to happen at TechEd Australia this year. Its a fairly simple app based on the Social Viewer template at http://socialviewer.codeplex.com however I hope to make some more updates to it really soon…

Update: I will be publishing a new version of this application that has fixed the twitter Oauth issue and added facebook support.

In case you did not already know Microsoft have just publicly released a beta version of the Windows Home Server ‘Vail’ which is the code name of the next Windows Home Server.

One of the greatly enhanced features of ‘Vail’ is the remote access capability of all you media files stored on your home server via the internet by using a silverlight plug-in. I was also delighted to see that the remote access web site will support mobile html version that is viewable on the iPhone.

This is also not the only time Microsoft has supported the iPhone as they also previously announced that silverlight will stream video to the iPhone. You can check out their demo of this at http://www.iis.net/iphone
