Windows 7 full (education) version to be $33 in Australia

imagePaul Thurrott has just announced on he Windows Weekly podcast that Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 Professional will be available for $33au ($29us) for students and teachers. This is an awesome deal and all you need to take advantage of this price is a .edu (or i assume .edu.au ) email address to verify that you work or study at a educational institution. Microsoft has always given very good deals for students with the academic and home and student editions of their products but this is going to be a fantastic deal that is sure to get a lot of students upgrading. This deal is meant to be going live October 1st so if you are a student and was thinking about pre-ordering your computer or Windows 7 then definitely hang off until they go live with the web site http://www.win741.com/ to order the software.
